Textura da Estrela is sourced from vineyards in Vila Nova de Tázem, subregion Serra da Estrela. Serra da Estrela is the highest mountain range in Portugal, but most of us in the US will be more familiar with the sheep milk cheese that has the same name. This is a traditional field blend that includes Touriga Nacional (30%), Jaen (20%) and Alfrocheiro (15%) and many more.
