Bereche Brut Reserve base 2022
The young and energetic Raphael Bereche is making some of the most
compelling Champagne being produced today. His Brut Reserve is a study
in classicism with 1/3 each of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Munier.
A combination of small oak and vats are used for vinification and this
wine is about as good as Non-Vintage bubbly gets. A long and detailed
wine with Braeburn apple, creme, sea salt and buttered pear notes
propped up with wonderful texture and seriously zippy acidity. A
glorious Champagne to drink and drink now!
