Powers Chardonnay Columbia Valley 2019
Sourcing fruit from pristine vineyard sites in the Columbia Valley,
Greg Powers uses a gentle hand in the production of his Chardonnay. Most
of the juice is fermented in steel tanks to preserve freshness while
just 6% of it is fermented in large oak barrels and completes malolactic
fermentation before being added to the final blend. Notes of green
apple, stone fruit, pineapple, and orange blossom on the nose are
complemented with rich layers of white peach, lemongrass, and caramel on
the palate. The wine has a zesty long and clean finish, thanks to the
bright acidity. Drink this versatile Chard now with anything from
