Giacometto Bruno Erbaluce di Caluso 2022
Erbaluce is one of those grapes that is rarely seen in the US but is the typical summer sipper in Piedmont. Its salty, briny qualities are so dynamic for warm-weather drinking. But the thing that sets the Bruno apart is a lovely textural component that, when added to the great acid backbone and whirl of flavors, makes for super white. Green apple, white peach, jasmine, and sea salt. Superb with all things from the water, grilled chicken, pork chops, and light pasta dishes!
