Francesco Rinaldi Nebbiolo d'Alba 2021
The fruit for this wine comes from vines grown on the hills of Verduno,
just a few kilometers from Barolo. It is ruby red and bright, a classic
Nebbiolo with floral and fresh cherry tones, cherry cola, strawberry,
and perfumed incense aromas. It reveals good structure, depth, and
character, with supple tannins. Fantastic with roasts and braised meats,
it is fresh and vivacious, with a medium weight that is both structured
and shapely, giving it that 'baby Barolo' feel. It is beautiful now but
has the potential to evolve elegantly over the next 6-8 years.
