Fiancetto Gravelly Loam Cabernet Sauvignon 2022
Ry Richards is an extremely talented winemaker who learned the craft
from Philip Titus at Chappellet. Being a Napa insider with contacts
upon contacts for some of the best sites in the valley, he was able to
take advantage and acquire excellent fruit. In doing so, he's created a
dynamic, bold wine that is an absolute joy to drink. Coming from two
sites on the southern valley floor (as the name suggests, planted on
gravelly loam soils) that are a shade cooler allowing the grapes to show
the perfect balance...and so does this wine! Dark berries, roasted
coffee, high-toned floral notes, and hints of spice. Juicier than
previous vintages, this wine is bright and layered - a delicious
Cabernet to be enjoyed now through 2030.
