The Condado de Tea area of Rias Baixas is one that has the best of both worlds. A bit more textured and also possessing the saline qualities of great crisp Albarino... It is here where you find the husband/wife team of Rebecca and Eulogio Pomare(makers of Zarate) who are doing brilliant things with the indigenous varietals. This wine is so pretty -- filled with pear notes, white peach, sea salt, lanolin and a hint of citrus skin. Long on the palate and way more complex that a wine of this price usually presents, enjoy this over the next 2 years.
