Corzano Toscana Rosso IGT "Il Corzano" 2021
This is one of our favorite "Super-Tuscans" year in and year out and the 2021 is truly an exceptional wine even in that context. Always a Super Tuscan blend of Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon with a good dollop of Merlot, this wine is vinified in a combination of new, 1, 2 and 3 year old French barrels. Il Corzano has brooding, complex aromas of blackberries, cedar, bing cherry, espresso and crème de cassis, a powerful, concentrated middle and a long, long, lingering finish. A gorgeous Super-Tuscan that will only get better with time in the bottle, enjoy this gem now through 2035
