From the Marche wine region, De Angelis Offida Pecorino is a vibrant white made for rich seafood dishes and yes, Pecorino cheese. This is a great producer from the area. De Angelis is a family-run winery that hand harvests, uses natural yeasts, and has been certified organic. Pecorino is often overshadowed by the more famous Verdicchio, which has many appellations nearby. Verdicchio is lean and crisp, while Pecorino has a softer more inviting character with aromas of fresh white peach, vanilla, spring florals and fine herb notes on the palate.
