I've tasted in a long time. The family has been growing grapes on this
property for 600 years but Mario started the winery in 1995 with 4
hectares in Castiglione Falleto and La Morra. The 2019 Castiglione
Falleto is just seamless...a blend of power and elegance that is the
very definition of great Barolo. Bright raspberry fruit with notes of
porcini, prosciutto, incense, orange peel and kirsch. Suave, fine
tannins frame this wine with unreal length. Enjoy now through 2036.
