Taconic ages their Grade A amber and organic syrup in ex-bourbon barrels, a process which takes an additional 8 months of aging. The spectacular result is a richer syrup, with aromas of toasted wood and nutmeg. On the palate, it’s complex, with flavors of sweet vanilla, caramel, baking spices and butterscotch.
