On Saturday, November 13th from 2 pm to 4 pm, Amanda Barnes, author of The South American Wine Guide, is visiting us to talk about her fantastic book and sign it, while you get to taste great vino from Argentina and Chile.

Amanda is an award-winning wine journalist and expert in South American wine and regions. She lived in Mendoza, Argentina, for ten years. During this time, she traveled the South of the continent, visited vineyards, met winemakers, worked in the harvest, and learned South American wine culture.

Her book is a 253 pages masterpiece, with great wine maps, the history of the grapes varieties, vintage reports, and a detailed list of the best wines to taste in each wine region. It's the best South American wine book, period.
